Dear Ones,
The following is an email from a new friend Michelle in Shutesbury
whom I met at the Health Conference thousands of miles away. Here is a
snippet of her experience of the highly respected Aztec Healer Tzen who is coming to
Amherst/Shutesbury Oct 10.
He will be doing a free introductory talk here at Juniper Hill, (Alisande's)
in Shutesbury near Amherst on Wednesday eve Oct. 11 at 7pm. Come for any and
all. We will be meeting till 10. Call or email AlisandeS at aol.com for info or
directions. 413 259 1730

Alisande,
Thanks so much for your enthusiasm about hosting Tzen. I have attached a
document that describes some of what he covers during his talks and workshops.
It also describes the treatments, and includes a bio. Feel free to attach this
file as is, it's about as descriptive as it gets (more information than the
website). But you can also refer people to his website, and/or use his photo
from it: www.aztec-healer.org
He'll be doing treatments October 11, 12, and 13 during the day. The
workshop is Saturday the 14th from 10-5:00, and Sunday 10-1:00.
My own experience with Tzen has been nothing short of transformational. I
first saw him at an evening lecture at Rowe, where he did a short whistle
ceremony. I felt the sound of the whistle push right through me, and found tears on
my face afterwards. I felt empty and sad. Tzen asked the group how they
felt, and since people were generally pretty chipper I didn't say anything. Tzen
thanked the people for sharing. He then said that sometimes we feel loss
during the ceremony because we are being cleaned of energy that is not
ours. Most of us are clouded with energy that we pick up from other people in our
day-to-day lives, and sometimes we carry it for our entire lives. We become so
familiar with it that we miss it when it's gone.
Since that experience, I have attended many workshops and ceremonies
with Tzen, and have been through more transformations, both minor and major. The
Tetzkatlipoka system is very practical in helping you to become the
healthiest, most spiritually developed person you can be. For example, you learn how
to keep yourself clear of outside energies, like I experienced in the whistle
ceremony. The thing I like most about this tradition is that the whole reason
you become the best person you can is so that you can be of greater service to
the community. What I like about Tzen as a teacher is that he doesn't want
anyone to take his word for it. He provides information, exercises, healing
practices, etc. But he wants you to try it out, see for yourself, and accept
what you want.
Many blessings to you,
Michelle
