Dear  MoveOn member,  
Here's a scary thought: In the next two weeks, Republicans flood the airwaves 
 with $40 million dollars of attack ads, and cap it off with their legendary 
72  hour get-out-the-vote program. When the dust settles on Election Day—
despite the  predictions—victory slips away.
We can make SURE this doesn't happen—but only if we pick up the phone and get 
 every progressive voter to the polls. That's why we're organizing hundreds  
of Call for Change phone parties this  weekend—Oct. 28th & Oct. 29th—and why 
we need you to join us.
All you need to bring is your cell  phone (and chrarger) and your hunger for

These phone parties are a fun and powerful way to make a difference in these  
elections. Here's how some MoveOn members described some of the best moments  
from the last few rounds.

When people  scattered throughout my house, sunroom, back porch, kitchen, 
living room and one  bedroom were all talking at once and I could hear MoveOn.org 
and Sherrod Brown  echoing throughout my house. Loved it—-we made a 
difference.

I brought a 4 pound platter of meatballs and ziti  from Costco and we baked 
it while we made calls. When we were done calling, we  all sat down and ate and 
talked and really enjoyed ourselves!

MoveOn members gathered this summer  and agreed to put the goals of health 
care for all, clean energy, and a healthy  democracy front and center in our 
fight for a better America.

We dared to  dream big—and we committed to work hard. This
