[Dance Spree] Please Consider

Hi Dance Spree-ers:

Last night as I put on my coat to leave Dance Spree I noticed it smelled strongly of perfume. This morning it still did, as did everything else in my closet where I hung the coat last night. For many people this may not seem like a big deal, but as a chemically sensitive person it creates problems for me. 

When I am at Dance Spree and someone wears cologne or perfume, it gets on every person they dance with and I go home with physical problems that I will not mention here because I am sure you do not want to hear the details. Usually my body heals within 24 hours and I am able to return to the dance the following Friday to go through the whole process again. I wish it did not have to be that way, but at least knowing I do not take the perfumy smell home with me makes it easier to handle.

This morning was different. I needed to use that coat this morning and now I have an asthma attack. I am probably going to have to clean everything in my closet too. I do not want to tell anyone they do not have the right to wear whatever they want, including cologne or perfume, but I hope you will consider that what seems like a basic right and no big deal to many people, can lead to real problems for people like me (and I know I am not the only person at Dance Spree who has chemical sensitivity).
