The Zany Source
Theatrical and Physical Explorations for Making Art

Come dive into the playful, insightful world of your creativity. Try  
on different Selves and allow them to move, breathe, sound, and  
speak. Improvisational structures will be offered in creative  
writing, creative movement, and theatre. A safe space will be  
cultivated for performance art and many forms of spontaneous  
expression. This is a great class for generating seed material for  
larger works of art and performance. All levels welcome.

Wednesday evenings 6-8:30 (sometimes until 9)

$160 for 8 classes

Zany Performance Art
Small Group Coaching for Intermediate to Advanced Performers

This class is limited to 6 people so as to have plenty of time for  
individual attention. We will work with a seed idea and develop a  
piece from it's conception to it's completion through in-class  
coaching and thrilling structures that bust through logical thinking,  
into weird, beautiful art making.

  Playing the Edge

Alignment, moving from center, kinesthetic listening, perceptual  
awareness skills, weight exchange, following the points of contact,  
falling, being off balance, spiraling, changing level, relationship  
with gravity and momentum, 3-dimensional awareness, leveraging  
through the bones instead of muscles, supporting, lifts, training  
reflexes, solos, partnering, ensemble, imagery, trust, improvisation  
skills, improvisational structures, play and laughter, and individual  
reflection and learning.
A mixed level workshop.

Taught by Patrick Crowley and Rythea Lee
$50 if you pre-register by October 10th ($25 deposit to register)
$60 after that day
