Hey Dance friends!First, the really good news: the reason you haven't
seen us dancing in a while is because we had a second baby! Toren
Moore Grosso-Siebecker was born at home on Saturday, August 9th,
weighing 9.6 lbs (whoo!), 21 inches long, and is shaping up to be a
gorgeous, sweet, mellow little being. All in the family are healthy,
adjusting fairly well, and occasionally even getting some sleep!
Next, the maybe-this-will-be-good-news-for-you-or-someone-you-know
news: our fabulous childcare person is leaving for NYC at the end of
Sept. (curses!), and we are seeking someone (or maybe 2 people) to
replace her ASAP. Ideally we'd like to find someone who can do
something like 12-20 hours of child care a week with both Toren and
his awesome older brother Canyon (who is 1 & 3/4 years old), or
sometimes just one of the two. We live in Florence, and are mostly
needing extra help for those times when both of us need to be working
(July basically has a 9 -5 job, and Michael is a massage therapist
and so has more flexibility with his schedule): from mid-afternoon to
mid-evening, Saturdays from morning to early afternoon, and/or maybe
some random weekday daytime hours. We're looking for someone who has
experience with and affinity for both babies and toddlers, their own
transportation, flexibility in their schedule, a willingness to fall
in love with two gorgeous, loving boys, and isn't planning on leaving
3 months from now; knowledge about attachment parenting and baby sign
language would be a plus! We're also open to someone who could do
only part of the hours we're looking for. If this could be you,
please let us know, and please pass this on to anyone someone you
think might be interested!
Thanks!
Much love,July, Michael, Canyon &
